About Candace Johnson

Mrs Candace Johnson, age eighty, widow of the late Jonathan Johnson, died here at five o'clock Tuesday morning from a complication of diseases. Prior to her marriage twenty-five years ago, she taught school at New London, Ind.

She is survived by a brother, Thomas Newlin, Fullerton, Calif.; and four stepsons, Howard and James Johnson of Kansas City, Mo., Arthur of Newcastle, and Jesse of Carmel.

Funeral services will be held at the Friends church here at ten o'clock Friday morning, with Rev Mary Hiatt officiating. Burial will be made at New London cemetery in Howard county, where her husband is buried.
