Gentelman being indisposed in Body", dated 24 Sep 1762, proved 24 May 1763, names wife Mary Cobb; son John Cobb; son Benj'a Cobb [land in Easton, allow his brother Silas to cut firewood]; son Silas Cobb [land where I dwell not given to two eldest sons]; four married daughters namely Abiah Sweeting ye wife of Lewis Sweeting Abigail Babit wife of Nathan Babbit Mercy ye widow of Richard Briggs deceased; Mary ye wife of Eliphalet Briggs; daughter Rebecca. Wife to be executor and guardian of Silas and Rebecca until come of age.
