Memento mori Here lies Inter'd the remains of Capt. Ebenezer Cutler. The superiour intellectual abilities with which he was endowed, recommended him to the respect & notice of his fellow men, especially of the more wise and ??? wing. In the publick trust reposed in him he behaved with fidelity. He was a friend to good order and discerment, a love of learning, & studious to promote it in this place. He was a constant worshipper of God in his family, & very dilegent in his attendance on the publick institut- ions of religion. In his last sickness which tho' long & painful was born by him with great patience. He discovered an ardent Christ after communion with GOD,.
