!1 Nov 1726: Rice Hooe of King George Co., and his wife Catherine gave lease of land on the north side Rappahannock River, King George Co. sold to Richard Taliaferro by John Reynolds. This land descended to his son Richard T., Jr. and on his death to Richard T., Jr.s sister Catherine, the said Mrs. Catherine Hooe.

Parent of Lydia (Hooe) Duncan and we know this because the land that came to her via Dr. Conyers was deeded to her husband, Rice Hooe IV which was ONCE owned by Rice Hooe I. That is why she was not mentioned in the will as she already received her portion. The proof of this is the deed work mentioned on the About section of Lydia (Hooe) Duncan's profile per specified deed. Here is the cross reference: Faquier Land Records named F-148:Land Deed from 17 Feb. 1743 connects the Hooe to the Conyers. The ridge in the line of Mr. John Hooe line, which passed to Rice IV 4 by Dennis Conyers. (FHL film 29,513. (Lyddia Hooe Duncan is an undisputed descendant of Dr. Conyers from when the land came to her father, Rice Hooe 4)
