Biography

SAMUEL FULLER, the son of Robert Fuller and Sarah Bowen, was born 1649.[1]

He married MARY IDE, December 12, 1673 at Rehoboth, Massachusetts.[2][3]

During King Phillip's War in 1676, mother Sarah Fuller, sons, John and Samuel and son-in-law Nehemiah Sabin, were killed during an Indian attack on the town. Father Robert's home and most of those in the town were destroyed in a raid during King Philips' War. [4] Samuel was buried August 15, 1676 at Rehoboth, Massachusetts.[5]

Mary Ide was the daughter of NICHOLAS IDE and MARTHA BLISS. She was born December 10, 1649 in Rehoboth, Massachusetts and died March 25, 1718 at Rehoboth, Bristol County, Massachusetts. After SAMUEL was killed, MARY married JOHN REDWAY.[8] They were married December 27, 1677 at Rehoboth, Bristol County, Massachusetts and had four children.

MARY (IDE) FULLER, born at Rehoboth 10 Dec. 1649, died at Rehoboth 25 Mar 1718, daughter of NICHOLAS and MARTHA (BLISS) IDE, and WIDOW of Capt. SAMUEL FULLER, who was killed by the Indians and buried at Rehoboth 15 Aug. 1676.

Capt. Fuller's son, and only child, SAMUEL JR., was born 25 Nov. 1676, three months and ten days after his father's burial. Capt. Fuller's mother, SARAH (BOWEN) FULLER, daughter of RICHARD BOWEN, was killed by the Indians and buried at Rehoboth 14 Oct. 1676;
