Capt VKS Menon

Capt Vadakke Karimpat Sukumara Menon was the fourth son of HH Maharaja Kerala Varma Midukkan Thampuran of Cochin.

He was the second-in command of the Cochin State Forces during the Second World War and was the honorary ADC to the Maharaja of Cochin, the Maharaja of Mysore and the Maharaja Rao of Bhavnagar. He was a popular figure in the social circuit of Cochin, Chennai and Mumbai.

Capt VKS Menon married Kuttikat Bharathy Kutty, daughter of Marayil Nanu Menon, and had four children -- Rajendra Menon, Krishna Kumar, Parvathi Menon and Kunji Lakshmi Madhavan.
