Captain Moses Snow was born on Feb. 3, 1805 in Harwich (became Brewster), Barnstable Co., Massachusetts, USA. He was the son of Edward Snow and his wife Catherine (Mayo) Snow. [1]

On Dec. 5, 1828, Captain Moses Snow and Hannah Jenkins, b: 3 Oct 1806 in Brewster, Barnstable, Mass., filed their intention to marry. They were wed later that month in Brewster. The couple lived in Brewster and had 8 children:[2]

Snow b: ABT. 26 Aug 1836 in Brewster, Barnstable, MA Bethiah Snow b: ABT. 26 Aug 1838 in Brewster, Barnstable, MA Clarissa Snow b: 30 May 1840 in Brewster, Barnstable, MA Zebina Snow b: 9 Aug 1845 in Brewster, Barnstable, MA Captain Snow and his family lived their lives in Brewster, Barnstable, Massachusetts, where he was a merchant marine sea captain and commercial fisherman. His wife, Hannah (Jenkins) Snow, died in Brewster, MA on December 23, 1869. Her husband survived her passing for about 18 months. He passed away on April 5, 1871. They are buried next to each other at the Brewster Cemetery, Brewster, Barnstable County, Massachusetts, USA.[3]
