

Nicholas Van Zant was baptized in Southhampton, Pennsylvania on January 1, 1712, and was a veteran of the Revolutionary War. He attained the rank of Captain. Nicholas died on May 1, 1801, at the age of 89, and was buried in the Old Cemetery at Feasteryille, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
