DIED
In this city, April 1, of aneurysm, Capt THOMAS KING was a native of London, England, and arrived in this country January 7, 1888, after having been shiprecked on Ocean Island in the English whale ship Gledstones. Capt King was for many years master and owner of several of the Hawaiian coasting vessels. His honesty, probity and courtous demeanor won for him the esteem and regard of all with whom he had dealings. He leaves a wife and one child.
His Funeral will take place tomorrow (Sunday) afternoon at 4 o'clock PM, from the residence of Capt F Molteno, Palace Walk, corner of Punchbowl Street. Friends of the deceased are respectfully invited to attend. 1863
