About Cara U. "Carrie" Trowbridge, ♊
Cara (Carrie) Ketcham, twin sister to Clara Dell Ketchum, was born to Eugene & Jane Irwin Ketcham on the family farm outside of Manton, Michigan.
Mrs Carrie Trowbridge died at her home near Bristol, Monday morning. Mrs Trowbridge was born March 23, 1874, six miles west of Manton. On October 21, 1893 she was married to Clark Trowbridge and since that time has made her home in Bristol.
Surviving are three children, John of Elkhart, Indiana
Mrs Bertha Cate of Kingsport Tennessee and Ed of Bristol. One son Samuel died at Camp Custer during World War I. Two other children Irwin and Gertrude and Mr Trowbridge also preceed her in death. She leaves two sisters, Mrs. Clara Hardy of Montague and Mrs. Libbie Beard of Petoskey.
Funeral services are being held this Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the home with Rev. E.W. Norling officiating. Burial in the Bristol Cemetery, Dover Twp Michigan.
