

Carl Belwin Latta, 73, of Willow Springs, MO, died there at 6:20 AM Friday, April 2, 1993. He was born in Cabot, AR, Jan. 26, 1920. His marriage on Dec. 26, 1943, in Terre Haute, was to Betty Marie Snyder, a native of Attica; she died April 15, 1985. He graduated from Cabot High School and the University of Arkansas. He recently graduated from Central State University. Mr. Latta was a retired inspector for OSHA in California. He was a World War II Army veteran. Surviving are three sons, Jack Latta of Newbury, IN; Barry Latta and Douglas Latta, both of Toledo, OH; two daughters, Caroline Richart of Willow Springs, MO, and Julie Ray Latta Marr of Pomoria, CA; a sister, Helen Shierk of Jacksonville, AR; a brother, A.J. Latta of North Little Rock, AR; and 4 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Garland Latta. Graveside service April 7 at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, the Rev. Ann Smith officiating.
