Carl David Yates

Carl was a good man and husband. Carl loved the new gadgits that were emerging. Things like the tape recorder and the butoneer. He spent much on these new fangled gadets. He fathered 4 children. David, Sonya, Carlos and Criss. His ashes are burried in the same plot as his mothers. Lucille Evelyn Yates. He married his first wife, Letitia A. Booher in Sidney, Ohio in 1965. This marrage lasted about 10 years. He then moved to South Carolina and remarried. This spouse died after only a few years that produced no children. Carl never stopped loving his first love, Letitia. He died 4 months after her death. Cause of death was lung cancer and tuberculosis. After hearing of the death of Letitia, he was never the same. I believe he just gave up. I knew him for 44 years. He died in Florida where he lived for many years. He was a brother of Richard Allen, Mary Alice Yates Henman, and Anna Marie Yates.
