DUNHAM, Carol
Carol Dunham, 84, of Hamburg Rd., Lyme, died Friday, (March 3, 2000) at the Lawrence and Memorial Hospital, New London. She was born on September 15, 1915 in Lyme, the daughter of Donald and Katheryn Harding Reynolds. She married Carroll Dunham on June 4, 1948 in New Haven. He died on August 17, 1995. She graduated from Mount Holyoke College and from the Yale School of Nursing. She served as a lieutenant in the Army Nursing Corps during World War II and taught nursing at Yale. She later in life became a realtor and was vice president of the Sparre Agency in Essex and Old Lyme. In 1977, she and her husband founded and operated the Dunham Company Realtors of Old Lyme. She is survived by two sons, Carroll Dunham of New York City and Edward Dunham of New Haven; and five grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 7, at the First Congregational Church of Old Lyme. There are no calling hours. Donations may be made in her memory to the Lawrence and Memorial Hospital Development Fund, 365 Montauk Avenue, New London, CT, 06320. The Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, Beckwith Lane, Old Lyme, is in charge of arrangements. Hartford Courant
