Carol Jean Feiler

Carol Jean Feiler, age 70, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2011 at HospiceCare Inc. in Fitchburg. She was born on July 20, 1940 in Madison and was the daughter of Robert and Rita (Dushack) Drunasky. She married John Feiler on February 13, 1960 at Sacred Hearts Catholic Church. Carol worked for the Dane County Human Services for 36 years. She enjoyed traveling to Arizona with family, going to races and cheering on her son #93, bowling, trap shooting, horseshoes and playing softball. She is survived by her mother Rita of Sun Prairie; 4 children, Anne (Michael) Sands, Thomas (Dena) Feiler, Mark (Candiss) Feiler, David (Missy) Feiler; grandchildren, Kyle (Emily Riechers) Hoege, Joshua Sands, Austin, Shawnte, Tomi Jean, Breann, Jacob Feiler, Angella Janssen, Chris, Shanae (James Theirer) Jennifer (Jay) and Eric Warren; great grandchildren, Domonic, Adreanna, Isaiah, Trinity; sisters, Delores (Tom) Baldauf, Gail (Dave) Fitzgerald, Deanna Drunasky and many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1995, her father and a sister Lois Skolaski. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 8, 2011 at Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Catholic Church, 227 Columbus Street in Sun Prairie with Monsignor Duane Moellenberndt presiding. Burial will be in Sacred Hearts Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2011 at the Tuschen-Newcomer Funeral Home, 302 Columbus Street in Sun Prairie. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at HospiceCare Inc. for all they did for Carol and her family. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established.
