Michael Risner was married to Catarina Barbara "Caty" Sechs.
At court held for Washington County April 29,1777. "On motion of Michael Reisner Certificate is granted him for obtaining Administration on the estate of John Sex deceased giving security whereupon he together with John Campbell and Arthur Campbell entered into and acknowledged their Bond in the penalty of One Hundred Pounds with condition as the Law directs for the faithful administration of the said decedents estate," NOTE: Sechs was also spelled Sex.

Cathrine's full [German] name was: Catarina Barbara Sechs .. though admittedly that surname has been spelled every way it could possibly have been spelled! I'm not sure I've seen it written as SEXTON more than one other place, but who knows how it really was spelled. I've also seen it as SEX, SECTS, and many other ways.
It has been surmised that Catarina Barbara was born Aug 10, 1750 and died between 1836-1840 in Harlan Co., KY, which part was formerly known as Knox Co., KY, and THAT was previously known as Bell Co., Ky!!
