As for her mother she would say she watched her work to pay off her father's various debts ,and put food on the table.CBH was a very fordable woman who instilled manners upon her children and grandchildren, and also shared her love of history. She worked unto the time of her death for a trucking firm as a telephone operator in Auburndale, Florida, and could plan a trip in detail down to what to take.
