WEIR, Cecil Edwin

Cecil Edwin Weir passed away peacefully in Sunshine Lodge survived by his

loving family; wife of 57 years - Audrey, son Tom (Laurie, Jody & Michael),

daughter Cheryl Taylor (Bud, Jane & Megan), son Bob (Sharon, Corinna &

Renee), sisters-in-law Joy Sharpe (Ray), Madge Macleod (Bill), Dolly

Hamilton & Rita Weir, brothers-in-law Renner Hamilton & David Reid as well

as many nieces and nephews. Cecil was predeceased by his brother Clifford

in 1997, his sister Roberta in 2002 and brothers-in-law Webster & Ross

Hamilton in 1993.

Cecil served overseas in the 2nd world war, returned to Manitoba and married

Audrey, moved in 1957 with his young family to Campbell River where he

worked at Elk Falls Mill until he retired in 1980. Cecil enjoyed and loved

his family, friends and music. He will be missed
