Charlene (13), her parents Chris Taljaard (37), and Sally Catherine Taljaard (35), and Johanna Susanna de Jager (Stevens) (72), were all shot dead, in what can only be described as a massacre, on the family smallholding in Drie Reviere, Vanderbijlpark, TVL (now Gauteng) on 27th November 1992.
