About Charles Bessonette

Charles Bessonett (1734-1807) built and was the first owner of the Delaware House, now the King George II Inn on Radcliffe Street, Bristol, PA. He established a stagecoach line between Philadelphia and New York City. The trip took two days and cost $4.00.
