In Memoriam
BROOMFIELD.—In fond and loving memory of my dear sons. Richard, drowned off the Nancy at Taupo. May 11. 1918: John, died November 17, 1918; Charles, and also his second son Henry, who died at Whangarei, November 24, 1918, of influenza. Forget! No, never. Some may forget The love that once they gave; But mother's love still follows her sons, Far, far beyond the grave. A chain of six sons was tightly linked together. But oh, that chain is broken now; Three links have gone for ever. For the Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away, blessed be His Name. Sons of the late William Broomfield.
Inserted by their sorrowing mother, Mrs. E. Broomfield, Whitford.
