Jenny Fisher, nee Atlins's comments about the Atkins: I have looked up the Atkins family tree. It is not done in any great detail, but we go back to a Henry Atkins, b.1718, who married Elizabeth ? and had a son, Henry b.1757.
The 2nd Henry married twice, 1st marriage to a Jane . 1754 d.1792. They had 9 Children !!!
2nd marriage to a Sarah, b.1763 d.1806. They had 7 children !!! prolific....

Hi Lilian,
You have been very busy. Also in the Atkins grave at Brighton, are Charles Cameron, my grandfather , and Thelma Grace, Charles Cameron's sister. Dad hasn't engraved their names yet. Ernest had 10 children. Dad has a detailed family tree done by hand. If you would like a copy, I can sent it to you, it's very big, and goes back to Henry Atkins, b. 1718. I will get it copied professionally so it's all in one piece and send it post haste if you wish. Ernest and Louisa did not have children called John C and Ada F. When my grandfather sold this home to Dad, he moved into a home in Wilson Street, Brighton with his brothers and sisters, Arthur Ronald, Madeline, Thelma Grace, Eugenia and Marion Ella Louisa ( known as Auntie Poppy) and her daughter Marjorie. A big happy family for many years until they all passed away. I spent many, many weekends with them there. Auntie Poppy was a magnificent piano player, so was Auntie Thelma. The other brothers and sisters were Florence Maude , Winifred Gertrude, Ernest, and Keith. I hope that helps, Looking forward to hearing from you, Love Jenny.

Dear Lilian,
I'm so sorry for the delay, but now all my exams are finished and I have done well. It was a hard but good year, and I have work in a local school library, which I'm very happy with.
I have applied and got permission for the Atkins grave at Brighton Cemetery to be in my name, so we can add 2 plaques for Thelma and Charles Cameron. The cemetery records were faulty, and these are the names of those in the grave, it is a double grave. Ernest, Louisa and their son Keith are in the left side of the grave and on the right side, Arthur, Eugenia and Florence all have headstones or plaques, Madeline doesn't have one, neither do Thelma and Charles Cameron. Dad wants to put a plaque up for Thelma and Charles, his dad. Madeleine's family didn't do one for her.
I have also found some interesting paperwork, which I will scan and send to you. I hope all is well with you and your family, Love from Jenny x
