Obituary: CHARLES A. CRAIG; WELL KNOWN JUNIATA MAN, DIED ~ Jan. 2, 1955 , Charles A. Craig, well known Juniata citizen, died at his home at 507 lOth. Ave. Juniata, at 5:25 P.M. Sunday. Mr. Craig who was a charter member of the Juniata Civic Association and had been prominent in baseball and other community activi ties for many years, was a former Pennsylvania Rai1 Road machinist, retiring in July 1942. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Juniata, and of the St. Vincent de Paul and Holy Name societies. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, #286, Altoona, Pa. He was twice married, his first wife, Rose Kelly of. Altoona, died June 20, 1920. His second wife, Elizabeth Roddy died in May, 1947.

He leaves one daughter and one son, Mrs. Helen (Craig) Shellenberger of Juniata and Charles K. Craig of Altoona, 18 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Emma Craig of Oakland, California and Krs. Lena Gonder of Juniata. Friends will be received at the James F. Saleme funeral home after 7:00 P.M. Monday. Interred in Calvary Cemetary, Altoona., Pa.
