About Charles Fried
Charles Fried was an American jurist and lawyer. He served as United States Solicitor General under President Ronald Reagan from 1985 to 1989. He was a professor at Harvard Law School and a visiting professor at Columbia Law School. He also served on the board of the nonpartisan group, the Campaign Legal Center.
Fried was the author of more than ten books and over 30 journal articles, and his work appeared in over a dozen collections.
