About Charles Raymond Frye, Jr.
HOLBROOK - Raymond Frye, 47, of Holbrook died at 8:30 a.m., Friday, Aug. 10, 1984 in his home, following a lengthy illness.
Born March 12, 1937 in Center Township, he was the son of the Charles and Frankie McVay Frye.
His wife, Elma Lane Frye, whom he married Oct. 9, 1982, survives.
He graduated from Center Township High School in 1955. He was self- employed as the owner and operator of a trucking business.
He was a member of the Waynesburg Masonic F&AM, Post 153 and the Claysville American Legion, Post 639.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, James Frye of Holbrook and Jeff Frye with the U.S. air Force in Fairchild, Wash.; two daughters, Mrs. David (Diane) Buckland of Gladys, VA., and Mrs. Daniel (Darla) Franz of Waynesburg; one sister, Mrs. Francis (Kay) Reilley of Glendale, W.Va.; two nieces and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Clair Frye.
FRYE - Friends of Raymond Frye, 47, of Holbrook, who died Friday, Aug. 10, 1984, will be received in the Robert L. Lantz Funeral Home in Rogersville from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, with the Rev. Garvin Hupp officiating.
Burial will follow in Centennial Memorial Park in Aleppo, the Masonic Lodge will hold a memorial service at the funeral home at 7 p.m. Sunday.
