Charles 'Charlie' Hart (1945 - 2020)
Brief overview:
Charlie (75), who farmed in Toise, between Cathcart and Stutterheim, EC, was attacked on 14th March 2020, by an unknown number of perpetrators. His body, which was found on the morning of 15th March, revealed that he has been brutally beaten.
The house had been ransacked. Evidence found at the scene, indicates that the perpetrators spent some time there, as a lot of alcohol was consumed. The killers fled in Charlie's Land Cruiser, which was later found burnt out at the crossroads of the Rexfield and Toise intersection.

- Charlie's murder took place two days prior to the murder of Collin Leslie Britz (65), who farmed on Craigmillar in the Elandskraal area, Dundee in Kwazulu-Natal. He was found in his home with a gunshot wound to his head at 4pm on Monday 16 March 2020.
