About Charles Kent
The will of Charles Kent merchant of London proved 13/04/1716 is silent on 'Jamaica property' but includes a legacy of £100 to Col. Thompson for mourning. He left his estate in trust for his three daughters Susanna, Charlott[e] and Dulcibella. Dulcibella Kent married in 1744 Henry Dodwell: 'Mr Dodwell' appears as a co-owner of Morant; Charlotte married John Dalby in 1725; and Susanna married Henry Jennings in 1723.
