Relation with Françoise Boissel: We marked that relation as "partner" because 1) we have found no evidence of marriage; 2) Charles married Marie Couillard in 1724 while Françoise was still alive; 2) the daughter, Marguerite, was using her mother's maiden name as her last name, i.e. Marguerite Boissel; 4) Marguerite does not acknowledge her father at her marriage. It appears that Marguerite was an illigitimate child.
