Notes for Charles Oulton: Charles Oulton was seventeen years old when he landed at Halifax in 1759. Shortly after this he came to Cumberland, and his name is on the list of the first grantees of Cumberland Township in 1763. Charles and Abigail both died the same night and were buried in a joint grave in Pioneer Cemetery, Jolicure, New Brunswick. The Oulton family were neighbors of the Truman family.
