Hi there, I have just joined this site and found your entry. Charles Pocock b 1842-1886 was my great grandfather and he had a sister, Elizabeth, born or baptised 30 january 1855 in Burrowbridge. I don>
't relly have any information about her and would be grateful any you could supply.

Married Anna Dampier (d/o John Dampier and Sarah Sharman) 8 September 1864. Taunton, St. James, Somerset, England.

Charles Pocock was baptized 3 April 1842 in Burrowbridge Parish with the family abode as Stoke & Gregory. On his census returns he gives Stoke St. Gregory Parish as his birth place. His father was a Boatman.

When he married Anna Dampier he was a shoemaker.

He is entered in the Burrowbridge parish records as buried 7 September 1886.
