Charles came to Western Australia with his wife and children on the Parkfield, arriving on 19 March 1841.[1][2]
He lived in Australind for one year, then moved to the Bunbury Town Site and was later a farmer at Capel.[3]
Charles died in Bunbury on 15 July 1854.[3][4]
