  Charles Grant Reed, 85, Martinsville, died Friday , 18 May 1970, at 4:30 pm in Union Hosp, Terre Haute, IN.

  Born in Cumberland Co, near Hazel Dell, the son of Edward & Ella Lawson Reed.  In Feb 1917 he married Goldie Johnson who preceded him in death in 1962. In 1964 he married Leah (Guy) Dill. He was a member of the Blue Grass Church of God.

  Surviving are 4 sons: Charles of Casey, Robert of Toledo, Lavern Ray of Homossassa, FL & Dean of Morris; daus: Mrs Elnora Terrell of Westfield, Mrs Lucille Carson of Toledo, Mrs Hazel Bishop of Martinsville, Mrs Catherine Carty of Springfield & Mrs Wanda McKenzie of Casey; step-sons: Bill Dill of East St Louis, Robert, Jim & Richard Dill of Spokane, WA; step-daus: Mrs Evelyn VanHouten, Mrs Doris Craig both of Martinsville, Mrs Lois Gressom of Marion, Ark & Mrs Judy Brooke of Greenup; brothers: Lloyd of Morrisville, Earl of Casey & Tom of Mattoon; one sister Mrs Mildred Seidler of Westfield; 22 grandchildren, 27 step-grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 28 step-grandchildren & 2 great-great grandchildren.

  Burial was in the Casey Washington Street Cemetery.
