The following information supplied by a cousin, Pauline Robinson(nee Lyons), who as a child, lived with the family from about 1917: Charles worked for Sid Greaves, a carpentry firm, after he came down from Brisbane. He lost his money in the bank collapse around 1890s in Brisbane, where he operated his own carpentry business. Worked on Canberra's parliament house which opened in 1902. Did not like leaving home & family, suffered from shingles, probably through worrying about the home. During world war one worked at Garden Island dockyard. Also worked at Metters, Alexandria. Member of Kilwinning Orient Lodge no14, VGL. Ashes deposited in niche K484, Florentine Wall, Rookwood.
