About Charles Banks Swift
Father: Clevears Warren Swift b: 15 SEP 1806 in Hanover, Virginia Mother: Martha Donald McClain b: Oct. 28, 1815 in Tennessee. She died Aug. 13, 1857 (age 41 yrs, 9 mo.) I haven't been able to find her grave yet.
Married Martha E. Wise Dye, a widow with two sons. They had several children, three of whom I have found and linked here. Two daughters are still missing: Maude A. and Bertha E.
Charles moved his family to Missouri in 1871. He was elected to the State Legislature shortly before his death.
