Charlotte Van Dyke

Her headstone at the Immanuel Episcopal Churchyard in New Castle, Delaware, reads as follows: This tribute of duty & affection is erected by an afflicted daughter in the memory of her revered parents Nicholas Van Dyke Esq. late governor of this state who died Feb 19th 1789 in the 49th year of his age and Charlotte Van Dyke his widow who died Feb 1807 aged 60 years.
