Illinois, USA</p> <p>The daughter of August Fester and Helene Gottschalk, "Lottie" came to the USA with her parents and siblings in Oct 1844 when she was less than a year old. The family settled in Deer Plain, Calhoun County, Illinois before moving to nearby Brussels, Illinois.

Lottie married Jacob Weigel, Sr. on 05 Jun 1865 in Calhoun County. He was a farmer, and they were the parents of 8 children.

At the time of her death, Lottie was 44-years-old. She was survived by her husband, Jacob, who passed away in 1911.
