Eva (Chama) Schamroth was born on the 24th March 1888 (19 March 1888)2. Her husband Judka Tenenbaum was born in Checiny Poland, on the 22nd (1st) January 1894. He came to Antwerp on the 3rd December 1919. They were married in Antwerp on the 18th January 1921.Their daughter Salomée Léa was born in Antwerp on the 18th July 1928. She was named after her maternal grandmother, Sara Lea and was called Lily by the family. Her husband left Antwerp on the 5th July 1939 in order to get his Polish passport extended in London, England. Due to the outbreak of WW II he was unable to return to Antwerp. She and her daughter remained in Antwerp. Antwerp Police Records state that Chama IK (identity card) number I03.637 of Bosduif Straat 28 and her daughter Salomée Léa were both registered as having died in Auschwitz on the 27th October 1942 - Polish nationality. Rechtenhouder State Archives, Brussels Kazerne Dossin Categorieën Deportations, Extermination, SS-Sammellager Mecheln (Dossin barracks) Transport XIV - SCHAMROTH Chana number 0137 of 995 persons deported. The transport left on the 24/10/1942 and arrived in Auschwitz on the 26/10/1942.
