Cheile (Chaja) Zwillinger

It is a distinct possibility that she was identical with Chaja Tauber, b. Koritschan, 17 Oct 1799, daughter of Michael Hersch Tauber and Channa (Zwillinger) Tauber, and that she (along with her brother Markus) joined her grandparents’ household in 1806. Her birth entry is in a different handwriting, and appears to have been inserted into the 1802 page at a later point.

She apparently was married in Mar 1831 when R’ Michael Hersch Tauber, paid her dowry. Her husband, however, has not been identified. The fact that Michael Tauber provided her dowry supports the theory that she was his daughter Chaja, b. 1799.
