Christian W High

Christian W. High, 95, of Rockville Estates, Honeybrook Township, died at the Tell-High Rest Home, Honeybrook Township, where he had been a guest for six months. He was a supervisor of the Lancaster General Hospital Laundry for 23 years, and a member of Mount Calvary Independent Church, Elizabethtown.

Born in West Earl Township, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Lydia Wenger High. He was the husband of Ellen L. Mechan High. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Bernice M., wife of Arthur W. Leaman, Leola, and Valetta, wife of Carl Snader, Rothsville; two step-daughters, Patricia A. Peter, Downingtown, and Mrs. Doris M. Brown, Honeybrook R3; five grandchildren; eight Step-grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was the last of his immediate family.
