Christian Ritzmann

April 4, 1922 - April 28, 2002 Christian Ritzmann, 80 of Mansfield, died Sunday April 28, 2002 at Med Central following a brief illness. Mr. Ritzmann was born April 4, 1922 in Mramorack, Yugoslavia and had resided in the Mansfield area since 1952. He was retired from Therm-O-Disc after twenty-five years of service in the tool and die department. Mr. Ritzmann had been a member of the Apostolic Christian Church on Middle Bellville Road, and had served as the chairman of the Board of Trustees at the Apostolic Christian Home. He is survived by his dear wife Margaret Vogel Ritzmann; five brothers and three sisters-in-law, Filip and Frances Ritzmann of Balingen, Germany, Adam Ritzmann of Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, Robert Ritzmann of Cambridge, Ontario, Canada, John and Anna Ritzmann of New Hamburg, Ontario, Canada, and Frederic and Madelaine Ritzmann of Toronto, Canada; two sisters and one brother in law, Erna and Kosta Tomic of Plattsville, Ontario, Canada, and Eva Gerstheimer of Mansfield. Numerous nieces and nephews and good friends also survive Mr. Ritzmann. He is preceded in death by his parents, Christian and Katherine Reinhardt Ritzmann; and one brother Ernst Ritzmann. Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Monday evening from 6-9 PM. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:00 PM at the Apostolic Christian Church on Middle-Bellville Road. Interment will follow at Mansfield Memorial Park.
