About Christina Cobb
Reference: 1693 Census of the Swedes on the Delaware, suggests her maiden name may have been Stalkop, since an affidavit by William Cobb, the first surviving record of his presence in the region, states that he was at the wedding of Stalcop's daughter on 23 February 1679/80. The names of the parents of the bride, John and Christina, were given to William and Christina Cobb's first two known children. Alternately spelled Stalcup.
