About Christopher Columbus Singleton, Sr
https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/73141314/christopher-singleton
adopted son of Robert & Mary -
PARENTAGE OF CHRISTOPHER SINGLETON HAS NOT BEEN PROVEN! [Note: Sarah Singleton died in 1716 - if record is correct - before Christopher Columbus Singleton was born!]
The dispute over who were the real parents of Christopher Columbus Singleton and the thought that he was the biological son of already deceased Robert the elder and Sarah has been accommodated in this tree to allow the Biological idea. Certainly Christopher was the son of Robert the younger and Mary (Avis) either by biological birth or by adoption. Biological birth to Robert the Younger and Mary is the more accurate choice for parentage.
