notes
The date of Christopher's death is evident by a swore affidavit pertaining to his will and inventory list:
"...An account calculation and reckoning of the cash paid and received of the Estate of Kitt B. Smith Deceased from the 21st day of February 1806 to the preasent date by the administrative of said Estate..."
By looking at his inventory list, one can portray Christopher's life. He was definitely a crop grower. Prior to his death, his stock contained a parcel of corn and a crop of cotton. He also had two augars and a plow hoe. Christopher had several beehives which he raised bees to produce honey and wax.
On his homestead, Christopher had one young Sorel horse, a Roan mare, a brown Bay horse, and a cow with her earling. There was also 16 heads of geese living at the homestead.
Christopher also had books which leads most to believe his family was educated. He also possessed a fiddle, which also portrays Christopher with creativity.
