C. Feldhake dies at age 84
Clara E. Feldhake, 84, of Effingham died at 2:05 a.m. Thursday, April 2, 1998, at St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.
Visitation was held from 4 to 8p.m. Friday at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham with a 6 pm parish wake service and a7 p.m. Council of Catholic Women rosary. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Effingham, with burial in the parish cemetery, Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
Mrs. Feldhake was born May 27, 1913, in Teutopolis, the daughter of Frank and Clara (Wernsing) Pals. She married Martin Feldhake August 23, 1939, in Effingham. He survives.
She was a homemaker; and a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and 5t Anthony Council of Catholic Women, both of Effingham.
Surviving besides her husband are one son, Jim (wife, Susan) of Effingham, four daughters, Mrs. Ray (Marge) Kaufman of Decatur, Mrs. Mark (Jean) Habing of Teutopolis, Mrs. Ron (Evelyn) Weber of Collinsville, Mrs. Tom (Dorothy) Zumbahlen of Effingham; one brother, Richard Pals of Teutopolis; 22 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two sisters and one grand daughter.
