Maunsel White Hickey is the great, great grandson of Héloise de la Ronde, daughter of Pierre Denis de la Ronde (1762-1824) and Eulalie (Marie Elizabeth) Guerbois. Her second husband was Maunsel White (1783-1863), New Orleans commission merchant and Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana, planter. Maunsel White was the son of Lawford White (b. Ireland 1773). Clara White (d. 1880), daughter of Maunsel White and Héloise de la Ronde, married Carl Kohn. Their only child, Evelyn Kohn (d. 1910), married Victor Meyer. They had six children, one of whom was Lenora Meyer. Lenora married John Alexander Hickey (1863-1937) and one of their children was Maunsel White Hickey.
