About Clarence 'Esco' Esco Pyatt
Esco & Eula farmed and cut railroad ties for a living. She always helped keep a garden and sometimes worked in the field helping him farm until all the children got big enough to take her place. Around 1930, he moved to a farm near Sligo, Missouri, to help his brother-in-law, Harry Green farm. Then about 5 years later he moved back to Davisville. Esco & Eula accepted Christ at the early age of 21. Esco became a bible scholar & taught a bible class for 40 years. They had a rough time trying to make a living during the depression years. Esco worked on the WPA or anywhere he could find a job. It was hard times and it was difficult to keep his family fed. Somehow they did provide for their family. They had always prayed that they would live until all their children were full grown. And sure enough that happened.
