About Claude M Butler

Claude M Butler, 61 138 18th St SW, former farmer and service station operator, died late Monday night in a loval hospitla after a lengthy illness.
Rosary will be Thursday at 8 pm at O'Connor Memorial Chapel and the funeral Friday at 9:15am at St. Joseph's Church. Burial with Military honors will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Butler was an Auto mechanic here before he entered the Army Air Force service in 1942 and served in the South Pacific three years as a mechanic. Upon his return he operated Butler Service Staton until 1958 when he was injured in a fall. He also operated a wheat ranch 30 miles north of Great Falls about 20 years.
He was born in Brocket, N. D. and came to Great Falls with his parents when he was three. He married Doris Hinkler here in 1938. He was affiliatec with the Disabled American Veterans, Veterans of Foreign Wars and St. Joseph's parish.
Survivors are the widow: brothers, Hugh, San Fransico: Paul, Portland, Ore. and Hiliary, Great Falls: sister Gertrude Foster, and mother Estella butler both of Spokane.
