1st It is my desire that my just debts and funeral Charges be punctually [_?_]and first of all paid

Will: 27 SEP 1805 Washington Co., PA Reference Number: 62 Death: 1808 in Pike Run Washington Co., PA Note: 1. Clement Rigg was married three times and had a total of 17 children. He married (1) Rachael and their children were Robert, George, John, Ezekiel, Rachael, Eleazer, Hosea, Elisha, Abijah, and Keziah. He married (2) unknown with whom he had two children: Pricilla and Miriam. He married (3) Sarah with whom he had Clement C., Sarah, Ephraim, Abigail and Jesse. We descend from his marriage with Sarah through Clement C.

2. The will of Clement Rigg of Pike Run Township, Washington County and state of Pennsylvania was written three years prior to his death:

Being in a weak state of health, but of sound mind and memory and remembering the uncertainty of this life, do make and constitute this my last Will and Testament. 1st. It is my desire that my just debts and funeral Charges by punctually and first of all paid. 2nd. When the time for which my son Jesse has taken my plantation is expired: then Sarah my wife shall have the grey house, a cow, ass, three sheep, together with her bed and bedding and the profits of my plantation during her natural life. 3rd. After the decease of my wife. it is my will the plantation be sold in the most advantageous manner and that the price thereof to be divided as follows: 4th. To my ten eldest children Robert, George, John, Ezekial, Rachel, Eleazer, Keziah, Hosea, Elisha and Abijah five dollars each to be paid to them, their heirs or assigns 5th. To my two daughters Priscilla and Miriam one hundred sixty dollars each paid to them, their heirs or assigns 6th. The remainder to be equally divided among my five other children Epharim, Sarah, Clement, Abigail and Jess to be paid to them or their heirs or assigns 7th. If there be any remainder of my personal Estate after paying my debts, as above directed, it is my Will that Sarah my wife shall have the same for her own use. 8th. Lastly, I make and constitute Sarah my wife together with my friend Joseph John to be the Executor of this my last Will and Testament - Hereby revoking and utterly disannuling all former wills by me or Executors named --Ratifying and confirming this and no other, to be my last will and testament.
