Cleta Delight Knapp

Cleta Delight Grubaugh was born in 1932 to Glen Ellsworth Grubaugh and Agnes Nellie Trowbridge. She was the oldest of their two children. She was raised in Indianapolis and married Eston Eugene Jones there on 26 May 1956. They divorced and she married Robert Louis Crouch on 24 Jul 1961, also in Indianapolis. Cleta had two children while being married to Robert. Finally, she married George F. Knapp of 26 Aug 1972, again in Indianapolis. Cleta had another two children while being married to George. George died in 2006. Cleta moved to Florida in 2006 when she met and partnered with Richard E. "Dick" Young.

A native of Indianapolis, IN, she was born July 19, 1932 to Glen and Agnes (Trowbridge) Grubaugh, one of two children. Cleta moved here seven years ago from Indianapolis and was a retired member of Indiana Bell Telephone with over 30 years of service, where she was employed as a service technician and operator. Cleta is survived by her loving companion of eight years, Richard E. "Dick" Young, Homosassa; son Jerry Crouch (girlfriend Sheila), Greenfield, IN; son Larry Knapp, Logansport, IN; daughter Janis Carmer, Homosassa; daughter Jody Rathgeb (husband Ronald), Jasper, GA; grandchildren Joy Carmer; Brooke and Blake Indof; Jeryn Crouch and Deborah, James, Christopher and Jonathan Knapp and great grandchildren Jayden and Jordan Crouch and Luke and Jasmine Knapp, as well as one sibling. Friends will be received on Sat., Jan. 11th from 2:00 to 3:30 P.M. at Wilder Funeral Home, Homosassa, where a memorial service of remembrance will take place at 3:30 P.M. Interment will be private.
