Cody Curtis Reed

Cody Curtis Reed, 84, of Parkersburg, West Virginia passed away Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Ravenswood Care Center, in Ravenswood, West Virginia.
Cody was born December 2, 1932 in Big Bend, West Virginia to Earl Roy and Fannie {Martin} Reed.
He was an Army Veteran serving with the 325th Airborne Battalion of the 82nd Division in the Korean War and retired as a custodian at Blennerhassett School. Cody also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Cody will be deeply missed by his 3 children, 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 1 sister.
Cody was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Patricia, 1 son, and 5 siblings.
Visitation will be October 18, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Jamie Sprague officiating. There will be no graveside services.
