Info added per the DAR's "Lineage Book of the Charter Members" by Mary S Lockwood published in 1895 stating he was "of Milton, Mass" and was "second lieutenant of the Second Company of Third Suffolk (Massachusetts) Regiment".
"Andrew Adams, at the beginning of hostilities at Lexington, volunteered for the service of his country and served until the British evacuated Boston."
